Who is this course for?

Students who are interested in learning principles of Graphic design and developing broad industry-level skills in Business Documentation and Advertising/Marketing printed publications using various software packages. This course suits students seeking skills to enhance their employability across multiple industries, or those looking to pursue their own business in the future.

What will I learn?

Students will:

  • Create a variety of Business Document Templates such as flyers, agendas, invitations, menus, itineraries, brochures etc
  • Create Advertising/Marketing Publications to support the operation and development of a focus business

A variety of software packages from the Adobe, Google and Microsoft suites will be used to develop the publications.

How will I be assessed?

Students will demonstrate evidence of their learning through the following assessment types:

  • Assessment Type 1: Practical skills 45%
  • Assessment Type 2: Product and documentation 30%
  • Assessment Type 3: Issues analysis 25%
