WASHINGTON – Elon Musk said this week that SpaceX and Tesla have formed special committees to study a merger of his two biggest companies.
The combination would be worth about $3.5 trillion and would be the largest corporate deal in history.
Musk founded SpaceX in 2002 to cut the cost of reaching space and one day bring humans to Mars.
