´³²¹±è²¹²Ô¡¯²õ protest this week against U.S. sanctions on International Criminal Court (ICC) President Tomoko Akane has drawn attention for the apparent restraint in the wording of its English translation, spurring curiosity over whether Tokyo deliberately softened the language to avoid a confrontation with its closest ally.
