The two, who are Chilean nationals, allegedly smashed the showcase of a watch shop in broad daylight on Tuesday and made off with four watches worth about ?200 million.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, a man smashed a display case with a hammer-like object and fled with four luxury watches worth about ?200 million from a store at a commercial complex in Tokyo’s Nakano Ward around noon Tuesday.
